Watch out for misleading “Expo Guide” offers!

Unofficial exhibitor catalogues give both organisers and exhibitors grounds for annoyance time and again. While in the past activities of Construct Data AG gave reason for complaint it is now the Mexican company "Commercial Online Manuals S de RL de CV".
Last week this company sent out a huge quantity of order forms for its Expo Guide to firms exhibiting at German trade fairs. The layout of this firm's form is misleading in so far as it promises a free entry into the trade fair organiser's list of exhibitors. The small print, however, reveals subsequent costs exceeding euro 3,500. This firm does not maintain any business relationship with Messe Düsseldorf GmbH. Should you as an exhibitor have signed this form mistakenly we recommend you revoke this contract as soon as possible or respond to it with a declaration of avoidance of
contract due to error.
